Data gap.

From scattered records to
connected understanding.

We are all looking into the same room through different windows.

A horse may be observed by an owner, trainer, vet, farrier, physiotherapist and rehabilitation team, yet each sees only part of the picture. Important information is scattered across conversations, reports, images and individual memory. Connecting it takes time, creates repeated admin and makes changes in the horse’s health or behaviour easier to miss.

DataBuddy is an owner-controlled digital health record being developed to bring this information together. The aim is to drastically reduce time spent on admin while helping everyone caring for the horse work from a clearer, shared picture. Information recorded once can support the whole team, freeing more time for the horse.

Subtle signals.Smarter action.

Early warning signals.
Prehab before rehab.

DataBuddy is designed to connect observations, professional appointments, records and images into a useful history of the individual horse. Information is organised by event and connected over time, preserving the context behind each finding. Future connections with ArenaBuddy and StableBuddy will add further observations to that picture.

Authorised care-team members can use this shared history alongside their observations and professional judgement to compare findings, recognise patterns and decide which changes need closer investigation. The purpose is to help the right people act earlier, while there is still an opportunity to address a concern before it becomes a larger problem.

Many experts.One view.

Different perspectives.
Shared understanding.

DataBuddy brings authorised professionals around the same connected record while preserving the expertise of each discipline. Veterinary findings, farrier observations, physiotherapy assessments, rehabilitation notes and training information no longer need to remain isolated. Each professional can see the relevant history, understand what others have observed and contribute their own perspective to the horse’s developing story.

Instead of professionals working from separate pieces of information, DataBuddy creates shared context. This supports better communication, reduces conflicting or duplicated work and allows knowledge from one discipline to inform another.

Your horse.Your call.

The complete picture.
Informed decisions.

DataBuddy keeps the owner in control without making them the messenger between professionals. The owner decides who can access the horse’s story, while authorised members of the care team can work from relevant original information rather than second-hand interpretations. Veterinary findings no longer have to be remembered, translated and retold by someone without specialist knowledge before reaching the farrier, physiotherapist or trainer.

Each professional can work from the source while the owner receives clear priorities — what needs attention now, what happens next, what requires monitoring and what can wait. Better information supports better-informed decisions about the horse’s care, time and costs.

Less admin.More horse.

Capture. Share. Advance.
More time. More horse.

Recording the same information several times takes professionals away from the work they are trained to do. DataBuddy is being developed so information captured during an appointment — by voice, typing or simple selections — can be used again wherever it is needed.

From a record checked by the professional, the aim is to prepare notes, reports, owner explanations, invoices and follow-ups for review. Each profession can work with templates suited to its needs, while the relevant information remains connected to the horse’s history.

Less repeated admin means more time for professional care, clearer communication and a useful record of every visit.
