What we collect, and why.

The only personal data this site collects is what you choose to type into its contact forms: your name, your email address, your message, and — on the general form — the kind of enquiry it is. We use it for one thing: to read your message and reply to it.

There are no visitor accounts, no profiling, no advertising and no marketing lists. Browsing the site sends us nothing about you at all.

Where it goes.

A form submission is delivered as an email to our team inbox, info@smarthorselabs.com, and handled by the people who work there. The email service that carries and stores that message is SiteGround Spain S.L., Calle Prim 19, 28004 Madrid, Spain, which acts as a data processor. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

What the server holds while protecting the form.

To keep automated abuse off the contact form, the web server briefly holds the network address a submission appears to come from in memory; it is never written to disk and disappears within minutes.

How long we keep it.

We keep your enquiry for as long as it takes to deal with it and whatever follows from it, and we delete it when it is no longer needed.

Cookies and tracking.

This site sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties — fonts and photographs are served from this site itself. The detail is in the Cookie Policy.

Your rights.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — write to info@smarthorselabs.com and we will respond. If you believe we have handled your data badly, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
